Painting and Design Technology

This program is designed to establish a thorough knowledge and habits of a well rounded trades person in the Painting and Decorating field.  The program is limited only by the student's desire and capability to learn.  The program trains students in the fundamentals of interior and exterior residential and commercial painting and decorating.  Students are instructed in the proper use of a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment which enables them to bid on jobs in a cost effective and competetive manner.

Opportunities

Membership in Skills USA/VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America)

Skills USA/VICA is a club where students compete in their trade area against other vocational schools in both written and practical applications at the district, state, and national levels.

 

Senior Work Programs

Seniors who qualify through good grades, attendance, attitude, etc. can be placed in a co-op position working and learning the trade while getting paid and earning credits.

 

Matriculation Agreement

Becker College: Students who meet the criteria receive three (3) credits for color theory.
