Welcome Students!
The Graphic Communications technical program includes graphic design. But what is graphic design? It is type, image, color shape/form, and sometimes how it appears. Simply put, graphic design is any form of visual communication. Just think about it: graphic design is everywhere! We cannot read without it. When learning graphic design, students sketch ideas and then use Adobe Creative Suite software to execute those ideas. Typography, color theory, layout, and the use of photograpy/illustration are the tools students use to create printed material, such as posters, brochures, and as to name a few.
Come back soon to see some of the designs that students in Graphic Communications have created.
