Finance and Marketing

Welcome to Mr. Mehringer's Website! I am the Sophomore and Junior shop instructor.  I am also one of the DECA advisors.

It is our goal to provide students with an integrated business background which incorporates finance, marketing, economics and computer applications. .

The Sophomore  curriculum consists of the following courses: Marketing I, Financial Recorkeeping, Business Mathematics I, Computer Applications and Personal Finanace. Students demonstrate and apply their marketing skills as managers of the school store, The Skyline Gift Shop. Students are responsible for the daily opreations of the store which include merchandising, advertising and cash management. All students are members of DECA, a marketing club, and are afforded the opportunity to participate in a number of extracurricular activiites.

The Junior curriculum consists of the following courses: Marketing II, Accounting, Business Mathematics II, Entreprenuership, Banking and Computer Applications. Students are eligible for an intern position at the Worcester Credit Union branch located here at WTHS. This 10 week  internship training prepares students for the professional carrer as bank tellers.
